Candy is new to the grooming industry in her role as a receptionist, but she’s no stranger to the salon life—she grew up helping out in her aunt’s grooming shop. Her favorite part of the job is watching the incredible transformations: seeing dogs come in dirty and leave looking absolutely amazing. Candy’s greatest accomplishment has been finding her self-worth and using that growth to build a meaningful career caring for both pets and their people. She accepts and loves all dogs, and is proud to be a part of their grooming journey.

Hannah, a talented groomer, began her grooming journey at MCCC in 2018, graduating in 2020. Her favorite aspect of the job is delving into each dog's behavior, relishing in the unique transformations she facilitates during grooming sessions.

Throughout her career, Hannah has achieved significant milestones, including enhancing the overall quality of her grooming work, building a loyal clientele base, refining her client communication skills, and mastering various breed-specific and standard haircuts. Her specialties lie in curly coats and double coats, where her expertise truly shines.

With Hannah's dedication to continual improvement and her passion for understanding and beautifying dogs, she's become a valued member of the grooming industry, leaving a trail of satisfied clients and impeccably groomed pets in her wake.

German Shepherds and Large Hairy Breeds

Tallia, a newer groomer, began her grooming journey by diving straight into bathing for a year before transitioning to grooming in December. She's quickly making strides in her development. Tallia's favorite aspect of the job is building relationships with both the dogs and their owners, fostering a sense of trust and comfort.

Her greatest accomplishment thus far is being able to start and finish grooming dogs independently, showcasing her growing skills and confidence. Tallia has a soft spot for German Shepherds and particularly enjoys tackling challenging desheds, finding satisfaction in transforming even the most unruly coats. With her dedication to learning and her love for dogs, Tallia is on track to becoming a skilled and compassionate groomer.

Pooodle, Doodle, and All Things Oodles

Toni, a skilled groomer, graduated in 2019 and transitioned to full-time grooming in 2020. Her greatest joy in grooming comes from seeing dogs transform, both in appearance and confidence, as she works her magic. Her favorite accomplishment is mastering the art of efficiency without compromising on the quality of haircuts and services she provides.

Toni's specialty lies in poodles, doodles, and all their delightful mixes. Her expertise in handling these breeds showcases her passion for intricate grooming styles and attention to detail. With Toni's dedication to making every dog look and feel their best, she's become a trusted name in the grooming industry, leaving tails wagging with her top-notch services.

Kaitlynn has been a dedicated groomer since 2017/18, starting her journey as a bather and working her way up to running a corporate salon—a milestone she’s incredibly proud of. Known for her warm personality and attention to detail, Kaitlynn’s favorite part of grooming is the connections she builds with clients and their pets. She believes that every pet deserves a positive, stress-free experience, and she strives to make every grooming session enjoyable. Kaitlynn has a special fondness for grooming poodles and bichons, finding joy in their unique personalities and styles. She’s passionate about making every pet look and feel their best while fostering trust and care with their owners.

Stylist

Since starting her grooming career in 2022, Summer has been passionate about advocating for pets in need. Whether shaving painful matts or recommending helpful products, she loves making a difference for pets and their owners. One of her proudest moments was helping an animal shelter by grooming two severely matted doodles, who found loving homes within a week.

Summer adores working with seniors, doodles, and double-coated breeds, and she ends every day fulfilled, knowing she’s helped another soul.

Stylist Apprentice

Lilly is a passionate bather who began her journey in the veterinary field but is thrilled to be entering the grooming industry. She learned some grooming skills at the Medina County Career Center, where she completed the Animal Management and Care program. Her greatest accomplishment so far has been finishing school and completing an internship at a veterinary practice. Lilly loves learning about all the different dog breeds and how to care for them, with a special fondness for double-coated and larger breeds, though Yorkshire Terriers hold a special place in her heart.

With a passion for pets and creativity, Nicole has been professionally grooming since 2022 but has been immersed in the industry since 2019. Known for her artistic touch and love of experimenting with new styles, she brings a fresh, personalized approach to every groom. Nicole’s proudest accomplishment is earning the trust of dogs who struggle with fear—helping them grow comfortable with the grooming process and turning stressful visits into positive ones. She has a special place in her heart for Golden Retrievers and Dachshunds, and loves showcasing their charm with every snip and fluff.

Bather

Casey started in the pet care industry in 2022 after attending the Career Center for Animal Care and recently graduated with a strong foundation in grooming. What Casey loves most is the supportive atmosphere, the amazing people, and the variety of techniques used in the salon. Every pet is unique, which brings challenges—but also growth and reward. Casey’s greatest accomplishment is overcoming a fear of dogs to follow this career path. Now, they especially enjoy working with curly coats, with doodles being their favorite to care for.  

Bather

Madi began her journey in the grooming industry in 2020 and quickly discovered her passion for helping dogs feel safe and cared for. Her favorite part of the job is meeting new dogs every day and guiding them through what can often be a brand-new experience. One of her greatest accomplishments has been mastering proper drying techniques—a skill that completely transformed her approach to bathing. Madi is now starting to learn grooming skills and is excited to keep growing in the industry. She loves all dogs, but Pitties and bully breeds hold a special place in her heart.
